Recognizing the Stranger: Parish Leadership Training Retreat 

Friday, April 14 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM & Saturday, April 15 from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Central Catholic High School, 1403 N St. Mary’s St.

 

Recognizing the Stranger is offered by COPS/Metro, supported by the Archdiocese of San Antonio, and sponsored by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. It draws from Holy Scripture, Catholic teachings, and practices of leadership development in faith communities.

Participants will learn to:

  1. Deepen the synodal listening process and understanding of the National Eucharistic Revival
  2. Rebuild our communities of faith in the aftermath of the pandemic
  3. Reflect more deeply on the mission of the church
  4. Listen and take action on the needs of church communities

Reconociendo al Extranjero es ofrecido por COPS/Metro, apoyado por la Arquidiócesis de San Antonio, y patrocinado por la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de los Estados Unidos. Se basa en las Sagradas Escrituras, las enseñanzas católicas y las prácticas de desarrollo de liderazgo en las comunidades de fe.

Los participantes aprenderán a:

  1. Profundizar el proceso de escucha sinodal y la comprensión del Avivamiento Eucarístico Nacional
  2. Reconstruir nuestras comunidades de fe después de la pandemia
  3. Reflexionar más profundamente sobre la misión de la iglesia
  4. Escuchar y actuar sobre las necesidades de las comunidades eclesiales
